Madelin Pupillo was born and raised in Venezuela. After visiting the US on vacation in 1996, she liked it so much that she decided to stay! She moved to Atlanta from the northeast so her family could take advantage of the more temperate climate, better schools, and lower cost of living. Most of Madelin’s relatives also live in the US, so it’s pretty rare for her to travel back to Venezuela.
Madelin has been an accountant throughout her career, starting on the corporate side and then moving into public accounting. Prior to joining Bach, James, Mansour & Company, Madeline worked at a CPA firm focused on the entertainment industry. “I got to meet a number of famous people, including Hamilton (the Broadway musical) cast members and actress Margo Martindale,” Madelin commented.
When she was contacted about an opportunity at Bach, James, Mansour & Company, Madelin was actually thinking about taking a sabbatical. “Once I met Neal Bach, Ellen Gelfand, and the rest of the BJM team, I knew I wanted to work here,” Madelin added. “I really like the relaxed work environment, and appreciate everyone’s willingness to help out.” Madelin currently supports the Sr. Accountants with individual and business tax preparation, audits, and other activities.
Outside of the office, Madelin stays busy keeping up with her three children, all of whom are very active in sports. She is also involved in their elementary and middle school PTAs. The family loves to travel, especially cruising in the Caribbean to destinations like St. Lucia, Punta Cana, and Riviera Maya. Every other year, they visit Ocean Isle Beach in North Carolina for a big family reunion – 40+ people! Madelin and her family are big football fans, although loyalties are split between the NY Jets and Miami Dolphins.
